Prep: Make an ice cream cone (or two for "competition") and several scoops of ice cream in different colors. I have 15. Laminate for durability and place a magnet on the back.
You can use this activity different ways. I used it to encourage the children to sing the songs their very best. I posted the cone on the chalkboard and the ice cream scoops in a "Ben & Jerry's ice cream container". If the children sang well a child could come up front & place an ice cream scoop on the cone. We try to reach the ceiling with the cones. The Sr. primary uses two cones and has a singing competition to see which side of the room can sing better.
